What information do we collect?

When we are engaging with you, we may ask you for a range of personal information, including your:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Contact details, including phone number/s and email address/es
  • Age
  • Gender
  • Relationship status
  • Employer
  • Tax File Number (TFN)
  • Financial circumstances
  • Employment details, which may include your role and job title
  • Your purchasing entity details if you are doing business with us via a trust or other entity

We may also ask you for documentation to prove your identify and other identity related information and items.

How do we use your information?

We may use the information you provide us to:

  • Assess applications and other approaches you might make to us
  • Assess your eligibility to invest with Liebke Capital
  • Communicate with you
  • Invite you to events
  • Maintain your contact details in our database
  • Fulfil our compliance and other legal obligations (e.g., taxation, anti-money laundering, auditing etc.)
  • Administer your affairs with us, including dealing with inquiries from you and investigating any issues or complaints
  • Develop analytical tools

Will your information be disclosed to anyone?

We may share your personal information in one or more of the following circumstances:

  • When we are required to do so by law, regulations and/or codes of practice
  • When we are working with other organisations to provide you with a product or service

We will not share your information in any other circumstances unless we have your permission.

If you want to access your personal information that we hold, you can contact us using one of the following options:

We will respond to your request within 10 business days.

If you believe that any of your personal information is incorrect or incomplete, email privacy@liebkeandco.com.au or use one of the other contact methods above, and we will update your information. If we don’t think your information needs updating, we will contact you and tell you why.

What to do if you have a complaint?

If you have any concerns/complaints about how we have collected, used, stored or disclosed your information, you are able to contact us to discuss or lodge a formal complaint. You can do this by emailing privacy@liebkeandco.com.au or one of the other contact methods above.

This is what we will do:

  • acknowledge that we have received your complaint as soon as we can (we will endeavour to do this within two business days)
  • investigate your complaint
  • provide a written response and/or propose a resolution with 10 business days (if we can’t do this within 10 days, we will contact you to explain why)

If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). We will explain this option in our written response to your complaint.
